As a Software Development Manager at Prepay Nation, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
In This Role, You Will:
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and us of new and leading-edge technologies
- Adds to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
- Engage with external teams to identify/resolve issues
- Troubleshoot and respond to system issues when necessary.
- Manage multiple priorities and multi-task
- Continuously review, propose, and execute opportunities to optimize the processes that affect the included solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 10+ years of experience working with .NET Technologies: C#, MVC, Web API, WebServices
- 2+ years of experience with front-end technologies like React
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle or other comparable RDMS database system
- Experience with APIs / micro-services
- Experience with code scanning and security tools for code vulnerability, code quality, secret scanning, penetration testing and threat modelling.
- Experience in leading development teams of 5 to 8 members for large-scale projects.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design patterns
