About The Role
Prepay Nation is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing core HR functions such as recruitment, retention, compensation, and compliance for the India hub. Key interactions will be the Chief Executive officer (CEO), Chief Finance Officer (CFO), and Global Team heads; this mid-level position requires 4 to 6 years of experience. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Thane, Maharashtra, India.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting all aspects of the local recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and conducting interviews
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
- Supporting performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and update policies to ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and process all employee relations documents, including promotions, transfers, salary certificates, contract renewal, and salary adjustments in compliance with approved guidelines and policies.
- Administer and file personnel data, employee contracts, attendance, sickness and holiday records, and medical/health checks according to company policies.
- Handle effective resolution of employee requests within timelines.
- Developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives and HR events to foster a positive and productive work culture.
- Overseeing general office administration, space planning and upkeep, and facilities management.
- Effectively structure benefits programs to attract and retain top talent in the Mumbai office.
Qualifications And Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in human resources management
- Proven experience in recruitment and selection processes. This will be a key responsibility.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll, local labor laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in HR management is a plus
